The Praed Foundation is a public charitable foundation committed to improving the well-being of children and families.
This website provides information about three tools supported by the Foundation. The Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) is a set of tools to support child and youth specific interventions. The Family Advocacy and Support Tool (FAST) is a tool to support interventions directed toward assisting families. The Adult Needs and Strengths Assessment (ANSA) is a tool to support interventions for people 18 and older. These three tools are designed to be compoinets of a management approach called Total Clinical Outcomes Management (TCOM). On this site, you will find copies of manuals and answers to frequently asked questions. A video clip from a training website is also provided as an overview. In addition, a powerpoint presentation of the TCOM approach is provided.
